1. Who We Are

ChainFeeTracker (chainfeetracker.com) is an independent cryptocurrency fee research publication. For privacy inquiries, contact us at research@chainfeetracker.com.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data required to operate and improve the site:

• Server logs: Standard web server logs including IP address (anonymized after 24 hours), browser type, pages visited, and timestamp. Logs are used for security monitoring and error diagnosis only.
• Analytics: We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited, which countries readers come from, and how long pages are read. Individual users are not identified. No cross-site tracking is performed.
• No cookies for tracking: We do not set persistent tracking cookies. Session functionality uses only technically necessary cookies that expire when the browser closes.

3. Affiliate Links & Commercial Relationships

Pages that contain affiliate links are identified with a disclosure notice. The presence of an affiliate link does not imply endorsement of the exchange as a suitable investment vehicle for any individual user.

4. Third-Party Services

ChainFeeTracker may use the following third-party services:

• Vercel: Hosting infrastructure. Vercel processes request data as part of normal CDN operations. See Vercel's privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Exchange websites: When you click a link to Binance, OKX, or any other exchange, you leave ChainFeeTracker and are subject to that exchange's privacy policy and terms of service.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other advertising-network tracking tools.

5. How We Use Data

The limited data we collect is used exclusively for:

• Understanding which content is most useful to readers (page-level aggregate analytics)
• Diagnosing technical errors and security incidents (server logs)
• Improving site performance and navigation

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, sell to data brokers, or personalize content based on individual browsing history.

6. Data Retention

Server logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days before being permanently deleted. Aggregate analytics data (which contains no personally identifiable information) may be retained indefinitely to track long-term site performance trends.

7. Your Rights

Since we collect minimal data and no personally identifiable information beyond anonymized IP addresses, there is generally no personal data to request, correct, or delete. If you have a specific request or believe we have collected data about you, contact us at research@chainfeetracker.com.

Residents of the EU, UK, or California have specific rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. Given our minimal data collection, most of these rights are satisfied by default (no profiling, no selling, no retention beyond operational necessity). For formal requests, email us.

8. Children

ChainFeeTracker is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age. Cryptocurrency trading is subject to age restrictions in most jurisdictions — users are responsible for complying with their local regulations.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We will not retroactively apply more permissive data use to previously collected data.

Nothing on ChainFeeTracker constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to use any exchange or financial product. Fee data is provided for informational purposes only. Always verify current fees directly with the relevant exchange before transacting. Cryptocurrency markets carry substantial risk of loss.
